High-Speed Photography

Punch

That's definitely not the way to make a punch drink but it looks so great, we'll let it slide. This fantastic photo was taken by Bhumi Joshi.

Kiwi

We're not sure if it's water or Sprite that the kiwi is being dropped into but either way, it's making us thirsty!

Paint Drink

Pouring paint out of a glass has never looked so fun.

Glass

Everybody breaks a glass from time to time, but it's never quite looked so cool.

Aces

When you slow it down, it makes you wonder how anyone can be accurate enough to shoot through something as small as a card, much less rip it in half!

Blue

Believe it or not, that is a balloon popping and not a huge splash of paint. Photographed by the talented Thomas Hawk, this is one of the many high-speed shots of balloon popping in his collection!

Scrambled Eggs

Terence T.S. Tam's collection of high-speed photography is complete with this brilliant shot of an egg being shot by an airsoft gun.

When the BRAIN decide to make ART

Unbelievable Examples of Forced Perspective

Forced perspective is one of the easiest camera illusions.
By playing with distance and perspective, you can trick the eye.

Forced perspective isn't just for still images, Look at this animated picture.

This photo was taken in the 1930's. The subject is Flickr user John Robinson's uncle. John posted this picture in October 2006. It's one of the images that sparked the internet's interest in forced perspective. Today it's a runaway meme.

Surrealism Photography

Also in the photography we can see Surrealism art.
The aim of surrealism is to "resolve contradictory conditions of dream and reality."

Artists painted unnerving, illogical scenes with photographic precision, created strange creatures from everyday objects and developed painting techniques that allowed the unconscious to express itself.
Surrealist works feature the element of surprise, unexpected juxtapositions and non sequitur.

With this Clocks you can remember Dali's artwork.
